1. Starchy products
So, the first advice is to eat more starchy products, like bread, potatoes, pasta, rice and noodles, etc. These products doesn’t contains much fat, as we used to think and that’s why they are necessary to our body.
2. Fruit and vegetables
Fruit and vegetables contain lots of vitamins and minerals, so there is no need in explaining why it is important to eat them. Drink fresh juices as well and try to mix different fruit and vegetables for your dinner salad at home, it will be delicious and what’s more important – healthy!
3. Fish
You should eat at least two portions of fish per week. Fortunately, there are lots of fish species to choose from: salmon, tuna, trout, mackerel, pike, carp, etc. Don’t eat too much smoked fish as it contains too much salt.
4. Don’t eat much saturated fat and sugar
This means you should eat as little cakes, pies, sweets and pastries as possible. Also, cut down on butter, lard, and cream. It may seem difficult at first, but it is essential. Replace these saturated fat products with vegetable oils, nuts, seeds and avocados.
5. Eat less salt
Adults can eat no more than 6 g of salt per day, children even less. Most of salt comes from processed products, so check it before you eat. And remeber, to much salt in your body can lead to high blood pressure or even to heart disease.
6. Be active
It is important to be active during a day. Do not practice sleeping after eating! You should walk a little after you eat your meal. Try cycling or walking in a park every day, or maybe, you would like to try running? It is proved that after running you feel much more better and you will stay active all day after the morning run.
7. Drink much water
You should drink at least 8-10 glasses of water every day. As our body contains 60% of water, we must drink it every day, not to dehydrate ourselves. Drink tea, milk, fruit juice, or just mineral water and you will feel better and your skin will look healthier.
8. Eat your breakfast
If you eat breakfast, like porridge, cereal or even toast with fruits, you won’t feel hungry till your lunch and hence, you will have more strength to work.
